I have an obsession with lyrics and the written world in general, and there were a couple that I was always drawn to. So I decided to continue the theme of imprinting slogans on to pieces in my second collection by taking a lyric from Q-Tip's Vivrant Thing and another one from Squeeze's If I Didn't Love You. I just always loved the image that is conjured up from the words “Imprinted on my mind every minute, makes my plans and you always in it”, and the implications that those words have. "Singles remind me of kisses, albums remind me of plans" has the same effect, it evokes a feeling you can't quite put your finger on, one of nostalgia, optimism and plans for the future.
